Concerns & complaints

Complaints Procedure

I take any concern about my service seriously. This page explains how to raise one and the support available to you.

Talk to me first

If you are unhappy about any aspect of your counselling or your experience of this practice, I would always encourage you to speak with me directly in the first instance. Most concerns can be understood and resolved through an open conversation. You can reach me at bradrid@gmail.com or on 07914 681995.

The BACP

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work within its Ethical Framework. If you feel a concern cannot be resolved with me directly, you are entitled to contact the BACP, which has a process for raising concerns about a member's conduct. Details are available at bacp.co.uk.

Concerns about your data

If your concern is about how your personal information has been handled, please see the Privacy Policy. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Urgent help

A complaint is not an emergency service. If you are in crisis, please call 999, NHS 111, or the Samaritans on 116 123.
